Rocket.net Review: Best Managed WordPress Hosting

My Take
I hosted all of my websites with Siteground until I finally made the switch to Rocket.net. So far, I’m a lot happier using Rocket.net after using their services for just over 1 month.
Rocket.net is a smaller WordPress Managed Web Hosting Company so I’ll do my best to give my honest opinion about their services and what you can expect.
Rocket.net isn’t the cheaper Managed WordPress hosting provider but they are worth every penny if you value hands-on customer service and fast speedy WordPress sites.

Why I Switched to Rocket.net
The main reason I switched from SIteground to Rocket.net is because I wanted my websites to load extremely fast.
Major web hosts such as Siteground have millions of websites on their servers, which slows downs key metrics such as TTFB and server response time.
I noticed my Siteground server was taking way too long to respond plus my sites felt clunky and slow.
I decided to make the switch thanks to Matt over at OnlineMediaMasters who convinced me to make the final push.
Here’s my full review after using the service for exactly 1 billing cycle.

Rocket.net was founded in 2020 by a group of American web hosting entrepreneurs who wanted to provide super fast managed WordPress hosting without all the extra bells and whistles.
Rocket.net is all about speed and security just for WordPress websites. I like the fact that the company focuses only on WordPress sites and doesn’t deal with other CMS or scripts.
That means each Rocket.net employee is a WordPress expert who can help solve problems that come up.
Rocket.Net Benefits
- Fast Loading Sites: Optimizing your site speed is crucial if you want to satisfy your visitors and achieve high Core Web Vital Scores. Too many website owners host their sites on cheap shared web hosting that loads slowly and forces visitors to close the window. All my WordPress sites load extremely fast even though I’m using Google analytics and over a dozen different plugins.
- Free CLoudfare Enterprise CDN: Most managed WordPress hosts offer a free Cloudfare CDN and require you to pay for a more expensive upgrade. The problem with the free CDN is that it’s slow and doesn’t serve your content from a location that’s close to your visitors. Rocket.net offers Cloudfare Enterprise CDN for every hosting plan (worth over $6,000 per month alone) and it really helps your site load faster.
- Quick Responses to Support Tickets: I often spent hours trying to solve problems on my Siteground server. It was obvious that Siteground’s tech support had little to no experience with WordPress. They would advise me to search Google for solutions yet I was paying them $100 per month! Rocket.net is a much different experience because each customer support rep is a WordPress expert and can solve problems much faster. It’s like having a team of WordPress experts at my disposal 24/7 365.
- Increased Site Traffic: After switching to Rocket.net, I experienced a surge in traffic on my main financial niche site. I went viral several times on Reddit and Facebook thanks to Rocket.net’s Cloudfare Enterprise CDN. My site went down often on Siteground because their servers couldn’t handle the traffic. Now, I can host 100+ visitors in real-time with no problems and I’m not worried about my sites crashing due to traffic spikes.

Rocket.net offers 3 different WordPress hosting options: Managed Hosting, Agencies, and Enterprise Hosting.
Managed Hosting
If you are a blogger or small business owner then Managed Hosting will take care of your web hosting needs.
I’m using the Business Plan that comes with 10 WordPress installs, 2.5 million visitor capacity, and 40 GB of disk space.
If you are just starting out then you only need the Starter plan that comes with 1 WordPress install, 250k visitors limited, and 10 GB of storage.
The Pro plan is the most popular and comes with 3 WordPress installs, 1 million visitor limit, and 20 GB of disk storage space.
Rocket.net is a bit more expensive than other hosts like Siteground or Bluehost but they provide a specialized service just for WordPress users. Plus, you receive extra perks that most other Managed WordPress Hosting plans don’t offer (more on that later).
Getting Started with Rocket.net
FIrst, sign up for Rocket.net Hosting using this link (aff) to get started.
If you don’t have a domain name then you need to purchase one using GoDaddy or Namecheap.
Rocket.net doesn’t offer domain name registrations because they focus 100% on managed WordPress hosting.
If you already have a domain name then Rocket.net will migrate all of your sites at no additional cost.
Rocket.net offers free unlimited WordPress migrations from your previous host so you don’t have to stress over moving everything yourself and potentially breaking something.
This was a huge stress reliever for me and it only takes about 30 minutes for Rocket.net’s customer support representatives to move over your website.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Create a new Adiministator user on each WordPress site under the username: hello@rocket.net
- Open up the Rocket.net live chat support and provide the username and password.
- Tell the support agent you want to migrate your site over to Rocket.Net
- Choose which datacenter you want your website to live at. I always choose New York City.
- Wait around 30 minutes to 1 hour for the migration to finish.
Once your website is migrated, you still need to change the nameservers so the internet can find your website at its new server location.
Managing Your WordPress Sites
Rocket.net has its own custom dashboard and doesn’t use Cpanel. Your dashboard displays your # of WordPress sites, monthly visitors, disk usage, and bandwidth.
You will be able to view all of your migrated sites here or you can add a new site at any time by clicking “Create Site”.
